BEST SPRING BREAK EVER!
Bar fucking none.

And it's only Monday...I've done something amazingly fun each night and I don't ever want to go to school again. I just want to be able to stay out till 5 every morning and sleep in till 3 every damn day.  And Ja, if you're reading this, thank you sooo much for being with me this whole time, you truly are the greatest friend EVER! I love you so very much! Nothin else has really been going on...I feel like I'm totally in another world and just completely out of reality because I've been having so much fun...seriously,  hope everyone else is enjoying their Spring Break! Make it last!

PS. Why has it taken me SO damn long to discover Lauryn Hill? She is amazing, I swear, a definite inspiration.

[ music | that 70's show ]

I've had a pretty steady, but fun week! It went by so fast...yet so much has happened. Softball, grades, friends, etc etc.

I slept over at Ja's one night. It's so awesome how I can just go over there and fall asleep in her bed, like it's nothing. I never have to ask my mom and her grandma is always cool with it, even on weekdays =) I have a blast no matter what I'm doing!

Hehe, her sister Lauren is adorable, I love that girl. She's the funniest sleeper ever.

I'm finally getting more comfortable with my grades and becoming satisfied with myself. I've been trying really hard this semester and I feel it's finally paying off. Especially in Algerbra 2, I stayed up all night doing my review and I even went into tutorials extra early to ask my teacher questions and such. I swear I got a 100 on the test today. I really do!
Studying is actually fun, especially with my fatass cat, Ozzie.

He hates when I do my homework. He just flops right down on my work trying to get my attention, even when I'm in the middle of writing.

See what I mean!

I've been doing pretty good in softball. I feel as if I'm not giving 100% though, so I'm really trying to concentrate on focusing more about the game tho. Tonight, right after 6th period, the team all traveled to a little town about an hour from here called Skidmore. We got to stop by Dairy Queen on the way up there, yummmm. Another 30 minuteslater, we got there. Skidmore's high school is about a quarter of what Flour Bluff is. And our school is small enough! The field was also super small and their bathrooms smelled like complete SHIT. Literally, no one wanted to go in there. So we all had to change on the bus. Asses hanging near the windows and all! Haha! By the time Varsity went out to play later that night, it was fucking freezing and the wind was blowing about 40 mph. It was horrible, if I stood still for even 5 seconds I'd feel like a block of ice. And the worst part was that they'd have to call time on the game about every minute or so because there was so much dirt and grass flying at everyone. Ugh, I'm glad we won though. 6-0! The ride home was fun too. It's always a lot emptier because half the players go home with their parents and it's pitch black! Then Paige dared me to go around grabbing people's feet and scaring them and such, so I did! I literally laid flat on my back under 4 rows of seats just grabbing random ankles and they never knew who it was! Hahaha, it's as hilarious, I kept it up the rest of the way home and they're still completely oblivious!

I subconsiously made a smily face with my breakfast this morning. Well, I hope you all have lover-ly weekends! STAY WARM! It's gonna be 20 degrees here in Corpus by Sunday..that's OBSURD!

I'm in Broadcasting right now. I love this class! No matter what we do, I always get the chance to screw around on the computer and listen to music. And my friend Sam is in this class and he's absolutely hilarious! It's fun being loud and annoying sometimes. Except when he always tries to scare me or screws around on my keyboard and tries to type while I'm clicking around. Yeah, that gets old fast! He's a cool kid though, I eat lunch every day with him and Amy in Mrs. A's classroom.

Anyways, I have a softball scrimmage tonight! I'm pretty excited, can't wait to get on the field and go up to bat. I'm really hoping we'll do well too because Ray, who we're playing, is the school our new Coach just came from. To be honest, he really didn't like it over there. At all. So he's looking to us to show them up.

I've always been a fan of The Academy Is..., but for some reason I've been listening to them 24/7 lately.....

Well, I don't think I could have had a BETTER Monday! And man, do I hate some Mondays...so today:

  • Aaron came over this morning after his practice for the first time in over a month! I miss just laying around and watching Spongebob with him. Even walking to school with him is cute.
  • I saw a commercial for the Curious George movie! I am in LOVE with that little monkey, I swear. He's absoultely adorable...and Will Ferrell, I mean come on, I can't wait to see it!
  • I MADE VARSITY SOFTBALL!!!! I couldn't have been happier when coach called my name out. As cliched as this may sound, all my hard work really did pay off. I worked my ass off last week and I couldn't be in a better position. I love softball. I love the way the inside smell of my glove reminds me of Schliterbaun, I love making an awesome catch in the outfield, I love the sound of the ball hitting your glove, I love having orange skin after slealing bases and green knees from laying out a catch. I love it all!
  • After school, DOUG was on Nickelodeon. I swear, I have not seen that show in yearrrrs. It was so wierd watching it. Everyone in it is so colorful and they all have such funny voices. Brings back so many memories.

SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT. Guess who's coming to San Antonio, TX!!!!!

Uh yeah, LOOKIE!

Yeah, not that I'm going or anything....it's just so cool to that my favorite bands is gonna be playin so close to Corpus!! AAAnd tickets are only $18.50, including service charge!!! Fuck...I wish my birthday was in February...that way I could get tickets AND my liscense just in time to see them. They're so great. I haven't had a favorite band for years. Actually, the last time I recall ever being obsessed this much with a band was probably N*sync in 6th grade :O. And yeah, that's pretty sad, I wouldn't even categorize them as a band! But I really love Panic! at the Disco. I am in love with EVERY one of their songs (and that doesn't happen really with many other bands). I love singing along to their lyrics because they're so awesome and smart and their beats and instumental talents are just too good for words. And believe it or not, they're only fucking 18/19 years old! I swear....that blew me away more than anything. Although they're really mature with their music, they can also have fun and relate to just about every other teenager out there. I first heard a song of their's "The Only Difference Between Martydom and Suicide is Press Coverage" a looong time ago in like October on Xm radio....I loved the song but never got around to downloading anymore of their songs until about a month ago. I've been listening to them literally non-stop. Am I crazy??!?!?!fgjkfjgjfjsdkjfjf

It's mostly definitely love. <3

Haha, wow. These past two days have been a BLAST! I got to skip two class periods yesterday and go to Ja's. She has Time Warner Cable so she has about 30+ channels with nothing but music playing on them so me and her sister, Lauren, would switch from R&B and Hip Hop to Electronica to 90's and so on just blasting it and jumping up and down and dancing for hoursss, it was fun. And I ended up spending the night and watching Red Eye (which I actually liked) and waking up and finding out we're going to Floyd's for breakfast! I had never been there, but wo, they had the best pancakes ever! Her grandma is absolutely hilarious! On the way home, Taylor left his rap CD in the car and we turned it up and we all jammed to Mike Jones! Haha, even her grandma was dancing and trying to sing along haha! I wanted to cry it was so funny....just rolling down the streets with her car thumping and an old lady driving...man oh man! We helped her clean her house though and Butch came by later and hung out with us and brought us to McDonalds. He bought me fries, it was really sweet, until right when I was going out the door, I was gonna try and be funny and shake Lauren's hand to make her think she'd drop her sundae, but instead I dropped my own fries :( We were going back home and saw some kids sitting outside selling Gatorade for 25cents a cup, so we bought 3 glasses. We left and tasted it and uuuuuugh, it was naaasty. They didn't add any sugar :( At least they were cute! We hung out some mroe though but then I had to go home. And I'm still here, just bored again. Just tought I'd make an update....cuz well, I'm bored. So buh bye. I love you all.

[ music | hands in the sky (big shot) - straylight run ]

I'm sharing some ham slices with my cat, Ozzie. I love this guy. He can stay awake with into all hours of the night.
It's 4:45 am and I'm not tired....seriously. I had been getting too much sleep before, that's all.

Music is amazing. I seriously don't know where the fuck I would turn without it. I've been confused about it for awhile though and have really been trying to find good taste for myself, but that's when I realized that there really is no definite good taste. There is no good or bad music. People don't only like music or genres for the way it sounds, but for the way it makes them feel. How it relates to them and how the beats and words remind them of their own lives. How it specifies the mood they're in and how it makes them feel like the song was made for them as they sing along to the words or dance to the beat. To purely enjoy it. I have not watched a single TV show in over a week. I've been literally listening to music 24/7. I have it on the whole time I'm on my computer, when I go to sleep, when I wake up and have it waiting in my room for me when I leave. I've discovered so many more amazings and different bands doing this too. So many of these bands are the ones that most people have never even heard of and even some songs by the band most people know have never been given a chance to make it big. But as long as I have my XM radio, MySpace, and purevolume, I'm a happy camper.

Straylight Run = one of the bestest bands everrrrrr.

I am in love with Christmas. We had a huge Christmas party in Broadcasting. We just ate lunch in the class room for the hour and a half that we had because everyone brought so much food. And then we did secret santa and I gave Tiffany Mitchell the DVD she wanted (SNL: Best of Mike Myers) and SAM was my secret santa the whole time! He had me convinced it was Kate for whole week, that bastard.. But he gave me, literally, a shoe box FULL of my favorite candy. Greatest Friday ever.

Also, my dad finaly came in town! He's such a cool person to be around. Within the first 5 seconds we saw him, he was already huggin us and crackin jokes and just being himsef. He took us out to eat a bunch and we even saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! (My 3rd time!) AH CEDRIC = LOVE! And yesterday, he took us shopping. I got to buy something for all of my friends and I couldn't be happier with what I got them. They're all gonna love their gifts. I really wish I could say here what I got them, but I'm sure a couple of them will be able to read this...so :X

Last night, I spent the night at Ja's. It was her mom's birthday and her grandma got her a kitten! It's the sweetest thing ever; it's orange and has big green eyes and purrs alll the time and it so playful and chases you around the house and cuddled with me while we were sleeping. Ah, so cute, and his name is Cheddar! Frank, Butch, and Martin were hanging out over there when I got to her house. They crack me up...omg, I love them lol.

But now I think I have to endure a boring Sunday...I'm done wrapping presents, which I love doing. I think giving is so much better than recieving...such an awesome feeling :)

Only in Texas will you hear the ICE CREAM man driving down your street in the middle of December.

My dad's in town!!! And is coming to pick me and Richie up within the hour! Gah, I'm so so so sooo excited to see him and to get hang out with him! Seriously, I always look forward to spending as much time as I can with him. He's just so funny and smart and cool and always has interesting stuff to tell us about Europe (which is where he is when he's not in Texas). And he always brings us somewhere really nice to eat on his first day back. Maybe he'll bring us to KOBE.

I dunno if it's the fact that Christmas is in the air or if it's because of my dad coming down or if it's this alternative-station music mellowing me out or that our break is right around the corner, but lately I've just felt really......good. Fullfilled? Ahh, yes. I have nothing to worry about lately and I can honestly say it's the first time in a long time I've been this way.
